Our Biological Debt

At Mushroom Hill Organics, sustainability isn't a goal; it's our starting point. We recognize that every extraction from the earth is a loan that must be repaid with interest. Our 2024 report outlines how we are moving beyond "net-zero" toward "net-positive" biological impact.

Circularity

98% of our production waste is diverted back into the soil cycle. By 2025, we aim for a closed-loop system where nothing leaves the farm except our finished castings.

Regeneration

For every 10 pounds of castings sold, we restore the microbial health of one acre of degraded soil through our local restoration partnerships.

Packaging & Logistics

Our commitment extends to the very hands that hold our products. We use only sustainable, biodegradable, and carbon-neutral packaging materials designed to return to the earth as seamlessly as our castings.

The Forest Initiative

We plant one native tree for every product sold. To date, Mushroom Hill Organics has contributed to the planting of over 12,000 trees, helping to rebuild the vital forest canopies that sustain all life.
